Loyetta Timmons Davis was born and raised in Oklahoma but now lives in East Texas.  Having worked in advertising, sales and hotel management, Ms. Davis draws from both her professional life and rich country heritage to weave stories about ordinary people doing unthinkable things.  Her books will take you from the farm to elegant hotels.

She is passionate about church, gardening, cooking, painting, and fishing.  She is involved in a number of civic activities.  She is a former foster parent with children and grand-children of her own.
